Authentication Error CSP Connect

Error: "Authentication Error! Something went wrong during the authentication process. Please try signing in again. "(see example below)

 

 

 

This is the timed out error that CSP Connect gives. To resolve this issue, users need to clear their cache according to the instructions below:

 

Solution: Clear cache, close entire window, re-open window, try again.

Chrome: How to Clear Cache

  1. When in Chrome, use keys: Ctrl + Shift + Delete.
  2. At the top, set the time range to "All time".
  3. Next to "Cookies and other site data" and "Cached images and files," check the boxes.
  4. Click "Delete data".
  5. Close the whole browser and reopen it. Try the webpage again.

 

Safari: How to Clear Cache

  1. In the Safari app  on your Mac, choose Safari > Preferences, click Privacy, then do any of the following:
  2. Prevent trackers from using cookies and website data to track you: Select “Prevent cross-site tracking.”
  3. Cookies and website data are deleted unless you visit and interact with the trackers’ websites.
  4. Always block cookies: Select “Block all cookies.”
  5. Websites, third parties, and advertisers can’t store cookies and other data on your Mac. This may prevent some websites from working properly.
  6. Remove stored cookies and data: Click Manage Website Data, select one or more websites, then click Remove or Remove All.
