To keep our university compliant, meet cyber insurance rules, and protect data privacy, all technology purchases need to be reviewed and approved by the Information & Technology Department before you buy them. This includes hardware devices to ensure compatibility with our network settings, cloud software that interacts with our university data, and software that requires installation on University devices.
This review helps protect university data and ensures our technology meets the standards required for annual security audits.

If you plan to buy or subscribe to any software or hardware with university funds or accounts, please send your request for approval to:
-
Dr. Eric LaMott – Provost, COO & Chief Information Officer ([email protected])
-
Jonathan Breitbarth – Director of Computer Services ([email protected])
You may be asked to provide the contract details to ensure that the necessary Cybersecurity items are included in the third-party contract.
