Connecting to a Shared Drive

To add a shared drive, you first need to know what you are mapping and that you have permission to this shared location.  These instructions apply to Windows 10 & 11 computers.

 

 

1. Open Windows File Explorer.

 

 

2. Click the address bar and type "\\" then the server name.

 

 

 

3. Right click on the shared drive and select "Map network drive...". 

NOTE: you may want to click into the shared drive a few levels and just map a subfolder.

 

 

 

4.  The Map Network Drive window opens up.  Set the drive letter and click finish.
